The National Finals are this week and the students are preparing hard for this event. Benedek Por and Henry Lindsey spend part of their school days at M&L Electrical Inc. A phenomenal achievement for any group of students made even more impressive as we competed against teams containing a large number of 6th form students. You may have seen on our Twitter account that our Year 10 Team “Koazy” have become the East of England winners. This week also sees our Year 7 students undertaking their first “examination” week to get them used to the demands of assessments in a shorter space of time. It was a really pleasurable day for staff and students alike. It is always an odd day, pride in seeing the amazing young people they have developed into with a tinge of sadness as they leave us for the next stage of their lives. We took the opportunity on the Friday before half term to spend some time celebrating their time with us at Debenham this included lunch together on the tennis courts, an Assembly and some activities together to finish the day.
